Carol L. Anderson Hall, 79, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021 in Danville. Born August 29, 1941 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Carl & Edith Lois Neff Anderson. Carol was a retired employee of General Motors, had graduated from Buckeye High School, was of the Baptist faith , enjoyed sewing , was an avid reader and going to Bluegrass festivals. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son , Greg Ellis, a step daughter, Virginia Hall, and a brother, Burl Cornelius. Her survivors include her husband, Elmer Hall, a son, Doug (Tammy) Ellis, of Lancaster, a daughter, Debbie (Jim) Ellis-Brest of Irving, Tx., and two step-sons, Royce (Kay) Hall and Travis Hall, both of Lancaster, two brothers, Jim Anderson of Weslaco, Tx., and Bob Anderson of Xenia, Ohio, as well as 6 grandchildren, one step grandchild and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Bro. Bill Graves. Burial will take place in Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ Cemetery on Highway 39.
