Cody Ray Plummer, 32, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, April 05, 2022 at his home. Born Tuesday, April 03, 1990 in Lexington. He was a son of the late Kenneth Ray Plummer & Carol Switzer Plummer, of Lancaster. Cody was a truck driver and had started Plummer & Son Express Hauling, he enjoyed hunting & fishing.
Other than his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Brandon Scott Plummer. He is survived by his mother, Carol Plummer, of Lancaster son, Nathaniel Scott Plummer, of Lancaster, uncle, Clearance (Janet) Switzer, of Lexington, grandmother, Barbara Switzer, of Lancaster, cousins, Alicia Renfro, Spencer Renfro, and a special dog Rocky that was a rescue out of Miami, Florida.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, April 11, 2022 at Ramsey–Young Funeral Home with Rev. Leonard Harris officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Ed Edgington, Shawn Moberly, Jordan Denson, Spencer Renfro, Tanner Bottoms, Joseph Tucker & Michael Preston. Honorary pallbearers include Emily Miller, Bart Switzer, Noah Prather, Trava Murphy, Kim Hurst, Barrett Hawkins & Phil Murphy. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until service time Monday, April 11, 2022 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may go to his son Nathaniel’s education fund at First Southern National Bank and/or the Jessamine County Humane Society.
