Eugene Hellard, 68, of Garrard County, passed away Tuesday, March 09, 2021 at his home. Born on Sunday, February 01, 1953 in Lexington, he was one of nineteen children born to the late Stanley & Lucille Clemmons Hellard.  He was a former self-employed electrician, and enjoyed horse racing.

Survivors include daughters, Julie (Chris) Peters, & Tara Harris, both of Lancaster; grandchildren, Cody Woolums, Kerry Lyn (Kody Hicks) Hellard, Caleb (Kayla) Peters, Carl Walker, Rayna (R.J.) Baldridge, Ethan & Elijah Gifford; great–grandchildren, Kaia & Kade Hicks, & six of his  eighteen brothers and sisters.

Eugene’s wishes for cremation have been honored, & a memorial service will be held at a later date. Friends & family may share memories or leave condolences on his tribute wall at : www.ramsey-young.com.

I've always kept u in my thoughts and memories.I was 19 in 1980 when we dated for short time.and in that time I was blessed to meet The Hellards...I wish I could have seen u but ur in peace now and I'll forever remember you love you Pam Leach
