Eugene Hellard, 68, of Garrard County, passed away Tuesday, March 09, 2021 at his home. Born on Sunday, February 01, 1953 in Lexington, he was one of nineteen children born to the late Stanley & Lucille Clemmons Hellard.  He was a former self-employed electrician, and enjoyed horse racing.

Survivors include daughters, Julie (Chris) Peters, & Tara Harris, both of Lancaster; grandchildren, Cody Woolums, Kerry Lyn (Kody Hicks) Hellard, Caleb (Kayla) Peters, Carl Walker, Rayna (R.J.) Baldridge, Ethan & Elijah Gifford; great–grandchildren, Kaia & Kade Hicks, & six of his  eighteen brothers and sisters.
