Gail M. Curtis, 86 of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born on Monday, November 15, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois, she was a daughter of the late Gilbert Martin & Mary Irene Dunlap Curtis. Gail was a graduate of Camp Dick Robinson High School & was a former employee at Westinghouse for over 30 years. Gail loved cats, horses, country music, playing guitar & working puzzles. She was a member of St. William Catholic Church in Lancaster. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gilbert Curtis, as well as a sister, Aileen (the late Billy) Reed.
Survivors include her brothers & sisters; Janet (Bill) Pendergrass, of Danville, Bobby Martin Curtis, of Stanford, & Carol Jean (Charles) Christopher, of Lancaster; nephews, Mike (Teresa) Curtis, of Junction City, the late Jeff (Louise) Curtis, of Danville, Tom West, of Covington, Rodney West, of Moreland, Doug Reed, of Lexington; niece, Karen Farris, of Ottenheim, & a host of great & great-great nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Father John List officiating & burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Charles Christopher, Tom West, Rodney West, Doug Reed, Mike Curtis & Clint Curtis. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the funeral home.
