Harold Lee Rule, 74, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at his home. Born on Thursday, December 12 1946 in Paris, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Harold Veach & Gladys Rainey Rule. Harold was a United States Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He played on the Navy Basketball team on the USS Shangri La, and was the former Vice President of VAW 912 Union at Trane Co. where he worked for 40 years. Harold enjoyed hunting, fishing & golf. He loved animals, traveling, Las Vegas, and was an avid UK sports fan. Harold was of the Baptist faith.
Harold is survived by his wife, Margaret Mills Arnold Rule; son, Patrick Blair (Pamela) Rule, of Paris, Kentucky, and two grandchildren, Kasley & Mackenzie Rule.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, May 04, 2021 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with burial following at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Full military honors will be performed by Caswell Saufley Post #18 of the American Legion. Honorary pallbearers include, Mickey Arnold, Colby Clay Arnold, Brenda Santos, Debbie & Donnie Lunsford, Doug Rainey, Betty & Buddy Arnold, Phillip Robb, Colby Arnold, Jr., & the Trane Retiree Luncheon Group. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 PM Monday, May 03, 2021 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home.
