Obituary

John J. Harmon, 75, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born to the late Judson & Irene Adams Harmon on Monday, April 29, 1946 in Lexington. John graduated from Lafayette High School, then went on to attend Cumberland University where he graduated with marine biology & bio-chemistry degrees. He was a former salesmen.

John is survived by his wife, Shirley Cochran Harmon; sons John (Lisa) Harmon, of Lancaster and Christian (Brandy) Harmon, of Lexington; daughter, Kim (Perry) Barnhardt, of Nicholasville; grandchildren, Samantha Hager, Mathias Harmon, Zach Barnhardt, and Ally Barnhardt.

John’s request for cremation rites have been honored and private services will be held at a later date. Friends and family may leave condolences or special memories on his tribute page at www.ramsey-young.com.
