Logan Boyd

Logan Harold Boyd, 83, of Danville, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at his home. Born February 28, 1940 in Lincoln County, Harold was a son of the late Herbert Kinnard Boyd and Irene Young Boyd. He had been a lifelong farmer, was a member of Covenant Nazarene Church in Danville, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and woodworking. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Christina Boyd and Stephen Boyd as well as six siblings, Allene Preston, Beulah Foster, Dorothy Johnson, Louise Tutterow, James Leland Boyd and Daniel Boyd. Harold is survived by his wife, Geneva Brickey Boyd, three sons, Harold Dewayne (Marie) Boyd, of Perryville, Michael Jerome (Indie) Boyd of Nicholasville, Timothy (Charlotte Holt) Boyd, of Boyle County, two daughters, Barbara Jean Boyd of Warsaw, and Sue (Billy) Bowles of Lincoln County, brothers, Kinnard Boyd of Lincoln County, Wayne Boyd & Wesley Boyd, both of Boyle County, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Harold’s request for cremation are being honored and a graveside memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, September 29, 2023 at Lancaster Cemetery.
