Marie Dillon Starnes

Marie Dillon Starnes, 92 of Trotwood, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Marie was born in Wayne County, KY on July 30, 1930 to her parents, John M. Dillon and Sue (Bratton) Dillon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Starnes; 3 brothers, Leo F. Dillon, James H. Dillon, and Billy Dillon; and half-brothers, Charlie and Jason Dillon.

Marie is survived by her son, Eddie K. (Diane) Starnes; daughter, Elaine (Bruce) Miller; half-siblings, Lana, Linda, Lila, and Larry Dillon; sister-in-law, Betty Starnes; granddaughter, Olivia Starnes; and numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Marie was a graduate of the Kentucky Baptist Hospital School of Nursing (1951). She worked 37 years as a Registered Nurse and retired from the Dayton Veterans Administration Center. Marie also enjoyed reading, arts & crafts, including making Christmas stockings. She graduated from High School in Lancaster, Kentucky in 1948.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Morgan officiating and burial following at Paint Lick Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until service time on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the funeral home.
