Mary Brown (Parks) Caldwell

Mary Brown Parks Caldwell, 91, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023 at her home. She was born to the late C.B. & Sarah Susan Rogers Parks on Friday, December 11, 1931 in Garrard County. Mary was retired from Kentucky School for the Deaf after 36 years, she was a member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, had been attending First Presbyterian Church of Lancaster, and was a member of the Cedar Creek Sportsman Club. 

Aside from her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, the late Walter "June" Caldwell, Jr., of Lancaster. Survivors include a daughter, Debbie (Rick) Muse, of Stanford; two grandchildren, Luke Muse and Amanda Muse; and a companion of 11 years, Ron Bannister, of Stanford.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. Vola Brown and Rev. Mike Denny officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Rusty Sebastian, Steve Parke, Bruce Muse, Jimmy Henderson, Joe Statom, Leroy Horn, and Brian Naylor. Honorary pallbearers include Darby Montgomery, Collis Ray, Dr. Rod Bates, Woody Leavell, John Henderson, and John David Friend. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM -- 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home.
