Nancy Duerson Clark, 84, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at her home. Born June 11, 1938 in Madison County, she was a daughter of the late William Robert “Buck” Duerson & Gene Noe Duerson. Nancy was a retired school teacher for the Garrard County school system for over 40 years and was a member of Lancaster Presbyterian Church as well as an avid UK Basketball fan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Wayne Clark.
Her survivors include a son, William R. ”Rusty” Clark, and his wife, Carla, of Danville, a daughter, Bonnie White, and her husband Phillip, of Danville, three sisters, Harriett Ray and Judy Hulett, of Lancaster and Bobbie Jean Long of Atlantis, Florida, She is also survived by three grandchildren, Trevor (Chelsea) Clark, Molly (Jesse) Steenbergen & Blake Long, 5 great grandchildren, Wyatt, Eliza & Millie Clark, and Wade & Walker Steenbergen, a special family member, Dr. Michael Zeratsion of New York. and three step grandchildren William, Andrew & Addison Carr.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Lancaster Presbyterian Church by Rev. Mike Denny, with burial to follow in Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will take place 5:00 —8:00 PM Monday, April 10th at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home and from 10:00 AM until service time Tuesday at the church. Pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews, Jeff Ray, Charlotte Kirkpatrick, Teri Pike, Lisa Elam, Mack Gordon Hulett, Jr., Kelly Voris, Robert Helton Long, Amy Choate & Clay Clark.
