Nancy Jean Lainhart

Nancy Jean Lainhart, 86, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at UK Medical Center in Lexington. Born Thursday, December 5, 1935 in McKinney, she was the daughter of the late Fred James & Mildred Jewel Alford Gooch. Nancy was an office manager for Lexington Quarry Co., had a love for Rocky Mountain horses and horse back riding, and enjoyed antiquing and square dancing. She was a devout member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church in Stanford. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Cloyd Eugene Lainhart.

Survivors include a son, Robert Buchanan, of Lexington; daughter, Billie Buckley, of Louisville; brother, Les (Tommie) Gooch, of Florida; grandson, Hunter Samuel Buckley, of North Carolina; nephew, Todd Gooch; niece, Jackie Payne, & a host of good friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Matt Wilson officiating and burial following at Madison County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers include Wesley Payne, Taylor Payne, Joshua Gooch, Alex Boone, Hunter Buckley & Sam Van. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions go to Calvary Hill Baptist Church in Stanford.
