Robert Clay “Bobby” Dillon, 64, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Baptist Health in Richmond. Born Sunday, December 15, 1957 in Danville, he was the son of the late Robert “Bobby” & Iona Black Dillon. Robert had retired from Toyota and previously worked at Madison Grocery. He attended old Paint Lick Presbyterian Church, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and car racing of any type. Robert enjoyed going to every event that his grandkids were involved in.
Aside from his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his grandparents Daniel &Willie Mae Black and Lula & Charlie Clay Dillon. Survivors include his daughter, Sheri (Ryan) Miller, of Berea, sister, Julie (Roger) Hatfield, of Paint Lick, aunt, Joyce Madry, of Gainesville, Fl, niece, Tara (Tommy) Noe, of Lancaster, grandchildren, William Clay Miller, Gracie Ann Miller, and Ella Katherine Miller, great-nephew, Micah Noe, and great-niece Morgan Noe, both of Lancaster.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Brother Logan Zepp officiating and burial following at Paint Lick Cemetery. Pallbearers include Wayne Day, Greg Murphy, Wayne Art, Russ Bowling, Bill Bowling, Gary Dillon. Honorary pallbearers include William Miller, Gracie Miller, Ella Miller, Roger Hatfield, Barbie Dillon, Dale Hellard, Tara Noe, Johnny Van Winkle, Ryan Miller, Micah Noe, and Morgan Noe. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM until service time on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home.
