Wanda (East) Hall

Wanda East Hall, 83, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023 at Baptist Health of Lexington. Born on Thursday, February 8, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Daniel & Ruth Carol Warmouth East. Wanda spent the last 20 years as a homemaker, but was a former employee at Ace Hardware, Cowden’s Manufacturing & IGA. She loved to fish & was a member of the Homemaker’s Club. Wanda also taught Sunday School & Bible School at Beech Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Randel Hall & her brother, Billy East.

Survivors include her husband of over 66 years, Bobby Hall, of Lancaster; son, Carlton (Jeanie) Hall, of Lancaster & her beloved pets, JoJo & Oliver.

Funeral services will be held at  1:00PM Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Greene & Bro. Andy Dickson officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jamie Lear, Glenn Lear, Cody Broaddus, Alan Edgington, Kevin Rhodus, David Lee Hall, Shawn Caudill & Bill Graves. Honorary pallbearers include Ann & James Wilson, Pat & Ronnie Horn, Mary Ann Graves, Linda Hall & Hallie Florence Hall Lear. Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 PM Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the funeral home. Friends & family may share memories or leave condolences on her tribute wall at : www.ramsey-young.com.
