William K. Dismeaux, 69, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at his home in Lancaster. Born Saturday, January 31, 1953 in Garrard County. He was the son of the late William & Loraine Logan Dismeaux. William was a member of First Baptist Church, he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing. He was also a skilled cook.
Aside from his parents, William is preceded in death by his companion, the late Ruth Ann Ison. He is survived by a son, Montez (Sarah) Ison, of Lancaster, a daughter, Megan (Brandon Mounce) Dismeaux, of Lancaster, a sister, Sharon Dismeaux, of Danville, a niece, Tonia Ford, of Danville, grandchildren, Cortez Ison, Isaiah Ison, Sophie Mounce, and Kye Mounce, and step-grandchildren, Seth Ousley, Sydney Ousley, and Shelby Ousley.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers include Ced Leavell, Scotty Burnside, Reed Baierlein, Eddie Coffey, Wayne Pruitt, Rueben Catching, Davey Logan, Sr., Gillis Dismeaux, Garry Vickers, and Jamie Black. Visitation will be held Friday, April 8, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home.
